Character applying for: Yukimura Seichi
Date of Application: December 15, 2007
(About Your Character)
Name: Yukimura Seichi
Age: 15 (born on March 5)
Gender: Male
Display: He's from Prince of Tennis, an anime and manga
Picture:
Why you want to roleplay this character: I want to RP Yukimura Seichi because I best resemble his attidute. I also know much about this persona, so I would also think that it would be fun RP-ing him.
Traits, Personality, and Appearance:Yukimura Seichi is The Captain of The Rikkai Dai Regulars. He May Look like an angel, but inside he has a completly different personality. He Got sick with Guillain-Barré syndrome. So he had to drop out of the Junior Senbatsu leageu, but now has fully recovered and participating in the nationals.
History of Character:
eiichi Yukimura (幸村 精市, Yukimura Seiichi?) is a third year and the captain of Rikkai Dai. Yukimura, vice captain Genichirou Sanada, and regular Renji Yanagi are known as the Three Demons (Sannin Bakemono) of Rikkai Dai, since all three joined the regulars when they were first years. Sanada and Yukimura have been Captain and Vice-Captain of the tennis team since they were second years.
In the winter prior to the current school year, Yukimura collapsed and was hospitalized. In the hospital, he was diagnosed and treated for a disease similar to Guillain-Barré syndrome, a neurological disease. In the anime, Kippei Tachibana of Fudomine is hospitalized in the same hospital as Yukimura after damaging his ankle.
Supposedly Yukimura is the best player on the team, as well as the best junior tennis player in all of Japan-- as good as Seigaku captain Kunimitsu Tezuka, or even better. Members of the Rikkai team said once that, as Yukimura is not playing now, the best player is Tezuka, showing that they firmly believed in Yukimura's position as the best player. When the author Takeshi Konomi was asked in one interview who he thought was the best player in the whole story, he answered Yukimura. However, Yukimura has yet to be shown to be actually playing tennis and even flashback scenes at most only shows him holding a racket, not actually playing; his playstyle is completely unknown at the moment. However according to Shusuke Fuji and Genichirou Sanada, he has achieved Muga no Kyouchi.
Yukimura has a delicate and almost feminine appearance, which contrasts with his strong willpower and a rather stern, brutally honest attitude on court. Still, when not on the court, Yukimura is a very kind and friendly person, if still proud and dignified. Yukimura says that he is one of few people that can defeat Sanada.
After going through a successful surgery on the day Rikkai Dai lost the Kanto Finals to Seigaku, Yukimura has returned to lead his team in the National Tournament, where they have managed to make it to the Finals against Seigaku. Although Sanada usually plays in Singles 1, he played in Singles 3 this time- therefore, it has been speculated that Yukimura might play in Singles 1 against Ryoma.

What's your 2nd choice if you could apply for 2 people?: Akaya Kirihira, since his external childlikeness and his inner demon are exactly like Yukimura's Personality, so I can handle his character well
Your 3rd choice?: Yagyuu Hiroshi, Since he also has a stoic persona, but is really a passionate man inside.
Sample RP post:
Yukimura is sitting by the window of his classroom, thinking of what was gonna happen next. When suddenly...
CRING!!!
The School bell rung. It signaled the begining of summer break. But to the Regulars, that meant hell, since they had to go to practice everyday. But Yukimura Didn't Mind, he actually LIKED practice. yes, he LIKED it. He was captain, so he needed to set an example.
When He was still deep in his thought, someone tapped his shoulder. It was Sanada Genichirou, his Vice-captain. " What is it, Genichirou?" He asked in a polite Manner. "Niou and Marui have been causing trouble again, should I make the run 500 laps?" Sanada replied with his stoic face still intact. " Genichirou! that is too harsh!" Seichi said to his Vice-Captain.
At Last, the time for afternoon practice came. The Boys team(particullary: niou, akaya and Marui) were sulking, Niou simply remarked" why do we have to have practice when it's summer break?*sigh*", Hearing this, Genichirou made him run 499 laps. Niou asked" Why 499? it's a strange number." his doubles partner, Yagyuu Hiroshi simply said" Just run before he makes it 4999."
While Niou was running 499 laps given by Genichirou, Yukimura Simply watched him running them, thinking " Genichirou is too harsh. But, he did get a new idea on making them run an odd number." Getnly laughing to himself, A regular snuck up behind him, saying"the Chance of Yukimura-buchou thinking about the new Idea Sanada-fukubuchou thought of is 100%" Yukimura, who was almost to jump when he heard this, said" Yanagi, stop scaring people, or I will make you join niou in his laps." Yanagi replied with a smirk then said "I wouldn't want that." then walked away.
(1st person)
I watched the river flow, thinking they were like my thoughts, me, Yukimura Seichi of Rikkai Dai, Worrying about dying? Never, "I need to wash away these thoughts. With these thoughts, I won't be able to think straight for the Nationals, I HAVE to get over this!" I scolded myself.
But Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder, It was my vice-captain, my close friend, Genichirou Sanada. He said to me" don't worry about it, you've fully recovered, just take care of yourself, and your fine." I smiled at his advice. It's rare to see Sanada Genichirou giving advice, but, hey! I was his friend.
The next Day, I tried not to think about those thoughts, I imagined that they were washed away with the river yesterday. I tried, but they just keep on coming back. But for my team, I will do everything in my power to just forget about it and move forward with them. If I think even more of it, I'll bring them down. Right?
Practice came as usual, but the regulars keep on noticing my long face. Renji, who was the team's data master, said " The Probability of you thinking too much is 75 %, the other 25 percent is the possibility your just really sad. Don't think too much, ok, Seichi-kun?" I force a smile upon my face.
(Hope that was good enough ^~^)
