It is once again time for the annual inter-school Winter Ball. Each year all of the local schools work together to share the burden of hosting the massive event, which welcomes the entire community to celebrate a year of hard work. It is an opportunity for the schools to thank the community for their support.

Although the teachers can't force their students to attend the ball, an extensive list of threats and bribes ensures a large turn out each year. And besides, most students look forward to the event.
